Time for tea and inspiration ... happiness in a teacup
Like most of us, I grew up in a goal-oriented society. I went to school in order to get good grades, in order to get a good job, in order to get a good pay, in order to have plenty of money, in order to buy all the things I want, in order to secure my future, in order to be able to do the things I really enjoy doing, in order to be happy.
I was taught that one day, when I have achieved all these things, I would be happy. There was only one snag: I wanted to be happy NOW! Isn’t that what we all really want?

"Good morning, Madam," said the old man, smiling, as he stood at the entrance of his house. It was one of those traditional entrances with two heavy wooden doors and a decorative brass knocker on each. Beyond it was the "antiporta," a more delicate door with large glass windows, lace curtains maintaining a smidgen of mystery about the interior of the house.
"Bonġu," I replied, smiling back. |
