I am present, yet I'm not vividly visible. You see me through my thoughts and feelings, and my personal experiences from which they stem. You see me through my view of the world.
I'm an observer of the river of time, each moment that comes and goes. With imagination as my inspiration, and words as my medium, I capture snapshots of reality ... as I see it. My perception takes form as an artist paints his canvas.

Some people bite their tongue or do the silent treatment. I could never understand that.
There is no fear, confusion, or unease, when there is love, truth, communication, and flow. Just freedom to be, comfortably. Wouldn't you agree? Yet, not everybody is capable of dealing with such blatant honesty. We have been so conditioned to communicate in riddles, that such vulnerability can feel challenging. But there is strength in vulnerability. In fact, it is the greatest strength there is. Vulnerability is a source of power, always peaceful. It is like the steed of the peaceful warrior. I felt hurt. Everything she said and did simply reinforced the stories in my head - the ones that told me that my perception of our friendship was an illusion; I was sure it was irreparable.
Still, it was not long before we sat to face each other; there was an intention to reconnect ... and the only way was to communicate. We took turns to speak. |
