During these couple of months, since my last blog post, Theory of Conscious-Quantum-Gravity, a grand inspiration of sorts, a series of synchronicities happened as if to allow me to experience truly what it means to dance with life, a metaphor I often like to use. I was too busy exploring the concept in practice before I could write any more. I was curious about the magic.
To me life is a bit like a video game. We do not know where we are going, but we figure it out on the way. We advance from level to level, learning tricks as we go. We learn the rules of the game, and we learn how to play it. We learn to play life, with the skill of a master and the innocence of a child at play.

Some people bite their tongue or do the silent treatment. I could never understand that.
There is no fear, confusion, or unease, when there is love, truth, communication, and flow. Just freedom to be, comfortably. Wouldn't you agree? Yet, not everybody is capable of dealing with such blatant honesty. We have been so conditioned to communicate in riddles, that such vulnerability can feel challenging. But there is strength in vulnerability. In fact, it is the greatest strength there is. Vulnerability is a source of power, always peaceful. It is like the steed of the peaceful warrior. Life can seem so random. Things happen out of the blue, when you least expect them, all the time.
Then, sometimes, the timing of two seemingly unrelated events can be so uncanny, that it is hard to ignore. In fact, not only do we not ignore, we tend to find a deeper meaning to that extraordinary timing. "It's too much of a coincidence to be a coincidence," you might hear one say. Indeed, it is not a coincidence; it is synchronicity. It is when things happen with such timing so as to facilitate your life journey or so as to lead you to a specific experience. Like when you are troubled and somebody says just the thing you needed to hear to ease the discomfort, guide your decision, and help you on your way ... without even knowing. Like when you get in a fix, and you meet just that wonderful soul who volunteers to help you out of your fix, then disappears ... like an angel who came to save you and disappeared once the job was done. Like when you are travelling and you haven't seen your best friend in two years and you arrive in a remote seaside town on the west coast of India, and she is the first person you meet on arriving although you both had no idea the other would be there at that time, and she had missed her train out of town that morning. Like when you are travelling and you meet the same couple in five different parts of the country, thousands of kilometres apart, "by coincidence," and you end up becoming really good friends, such that they invite you to their wedding and they visit you twice in your home country. Some things are just meant to be. |
