What is reality made of?
One day, a post from this blog, which is related to that exploration, creates a stir on a science, philosophy and spirituality forum on Facebook. The probing only led to further conviction, as more research led me to stumble upon certain aspects of quantum physics I did not yet know about, and which fit so nicely into my already solid world view. Then I put this together.
10 dimensions in String Theory
The Holographic Principle
It should follow that all the information for infinite timelines of infinite possibility is wrapped around the surface area of the 10th dimension.
Light and Sound
The ancient Vedic philosophies describe reality as follows:
- the unmanifest is consciousness, which is described as points of light, much like photons, maybe even smaller, and,
- the manifest is described as sound (hence I will use of terms like vibration and resonance) as energy and then matter come into play.
Pure consciousness (Purusha) combined with pure energy-potential (Prakriti), form the fundamental basis of the material universe, according to Samkhya philosophy.
Consciousness at the beginning
Actually, since we are conscious, we can deduce that there is consciousness in some other dimensions, too. With the assumption that at the very beginning there is consciousness, there is consciousness in all dimensions. Then the single dot of everything in the 10th dimension - the one that represents all possible timelines of all possible universes - is the Absolute. What I could call superconsciousness or absolute consciousness, is what some people call god/goddess, others still the Creator, and others still the Matrix or the 2D layer of information surrounding our holographic universe and many parallel universes.
Then if consciousness pervades everything, subatomic photons are also conscious. That would make room to explain subtle and otherwise unexplainable connection and *entanglement* of all things. This gives way to intuition, synchronicity, energy healing, the power of prayer, magic, and a bunch of other things that science prefers to ignore, but which, to many, exist as a concrete part of their physical experience.
Naming means something exists in the 10th dimension. Some conscious entities in the 3rd dimension connect with that *information* and experience it as their subjective reality within time and space.
Throughout the discussion, each of the physicists raises issues (watch the video), such as that they have still not determined causality, nor found the connection of the holographic principle with gravity. With consciousness, causality is resolved, and so is gravity.
The universe exists because of awareness
With consciousness encompassing and pervading everything (referred to as Brahman and Paramatma in the Vedas) we do not assume that we are the only "lookers."
How the mechanism works in Time
And the moment you look, it is there, with Time being the bridge-dimension for manifestation and dissolution. So like the story of Shiva Nataraj in Vedic tradition, who with a cosmic dance of destruction and creation, is responsible for the universe as we know it. I interpret this to symbolise the processing of information in Time - a redefined *event horizon*. It is the point at which light becomes sound, which vibrational frequency gives way to different forms of matter, which is why light behaves both as a wave and a particle.
As ’t Hooft suggests, the sub-quantum (or super-quantum) realm ultimately can offer only a single possible outcome. An outcome is determined at a single point within the infinite universes of possibility because the 10-dimensional fabric is a matrix-like web that can connect two points of 3-dimensional and 10-dimensional reality instantly, like the ant in 2-dimensions in the first video. We experience it in 3-dimensions.
Which two points sync is determined by vibration and "resonance" of a particular conscious pocket that corresponds with particular information (or energy-potential) contained on the periphery in the 10th dimension.
For resonance to happen, the realities that will sync must therefore be very similar. But from that point, manifest reality can move in only certain directions, since the past cannot be undone.
Hence the path is determined within the web or matrix of 10 dimensions, which we experience in 3 dimensions, and we influence it ... but it is not dependent on us absolutely. Thinking, willing and feeling carry a stronger vibration than unconscious action or non-action.
What about Gravity?
The density and gravity of Space-Time give rise to protons, neutrons and electrons, then the arrangement of atoms. Think of *sound* purely as manifest energy at higher or lower frequencies. Depending on the frequency, matter is formed accordingly. Matter may be regarded as made of subatomic "energy particles" (quarks and gluons), which are arranged as patterns of vibration in what Rupert Sheldrake calls a morphogenetic field, an organising field that ultimately defines a system's structure.
This one here is a dimension made of matter, however higher dimensions beyond Space-Time are made of a different stuff, which remains yet unnamed in physics.
What I am describing is a complex web of information and energy, constantly in a dance from the quantum to the relative level, where everything is conscious and co-existing together like a single organism, but which exists individually and influences the whole vibration, so information will resonate and respond to create the holographic reality, which is experienced as concrete in the 3rd dimension.

A paradigm shift
Within this concept, every world view, scientific or non-scientific, has room to exist as part of a 3-dimensional reality accessed from 10-dimensions of possibility; absolutely everything imaginable, since all infinite possibilities are accessible and being accessed by different pockets of consciousness (of different levels) throughout the universe, moment by moment, leaving a concrete reality behind in time.
So conscious reality can be considered from two points of view: absolute (10 dimensions), or subjective (3 dimensions). Meanwhile, concrete reality as we know it would be the result of conscious-effort, from the individual to the collective to the absolute level, and from subatomic particles to living entities to the planets and the stars (here would be the space for astrology to come in). Each conscious body makes a difference.
A picture can explain a thousand words, but I think we've been missing the picture for the paint. It's been happening in every school of thought and spiritual tradition. There is symbolic truth to be found even in Hindu mythology and Vedic philosophy that corresponds with emerging scientific theory and we must no longer hold the various fields of human understanding of reality as separate, if we are to understand reality completely, as it is. THIS is the new paradigm shift I propose.

What physicists say
Martin Rees
"Observations not only disturb what is to be measured, they produce it."
Pascual Jordan
"The doctrine that the world is made up of objects whose existence is independent of human consciousness turns out to be in conflict with quantum mechanics and with facts established by experiment."
Bernard d'Espagnat
"When the province of physical theory was extended to encompass microscopic phenomena through the creation of quantum mechanics, the concept of consciousness came to the fore again. It was not possible to formulate the laws of quantum mechanics in a fully consistent way without reference to the consciousness."
Eugene Wigner
"Is it not good to know what follows from what, even if it is not necessary FAPP? [FAPP is Bell's disparaging abbreviation of "for all practical purposes."] Suppose for example that quantum mechanics were found to resist precise formulation. Suppose that when formulation beyond FAPP is attempted, we find an unmovable finger obstinately pointing outside the subject, to the mind of the observer, to the Hindu scriptures, to God, or even only Gravitation? Would that not be very, very interesting?"
