“Music is the scaffolding upon which I build my reality within the universe and allowing music to play through me allows me to explore this scaffolding in an ecstatic sonorous dance. When the music reaches its climax, in those moments I float above the scaffolding only to look down and see that it’s not there.”
“Wow. Very well expressed. And I totally feel you … and resonate. Boom!”
“Like you build the scaffolding to transcend the scaffolding … and I become the scaffolding to transcend the scaffolding … very appropriate, seeing you are male and I am female. And I don't speak of gender. It is interesting because intention, Purusa, is male and Shakti, energy, is female. Shakti is also Prakriti, as the energy materialises … .”
“Haha, well spotted.”
“Hux? Kemm niehu pjacir. Thanks for this sharing … so cool!”
Dancers, musicians, singers, wizards, witches, romantics and sages - all in their own way - have been using sound to transcend what is manifest from sound since time immemorial.
Hindus claim that it all began with the sound AUM. In the Gospel of John 1:1 we find: "At first there was the word and then the word was made into flesh." Perhaps there is more truth than we imagine in the Eastern wisdom that the world is sound. At quantum level, isn't our universe just energy vibration, or sound?
Mantras, magic spells and prayers all claim to have the power to transform reality. What are they, if not sound coupled with intention? The world as we know it may indeed be born of sound coupled with intention, whether we are conscious of it or not.
Whether you call your perception of reality the "scaffolding," the "holographic reality" or the "Matrix" ... it exists because of thinking, willing and feeling. Just until we surrender, let go and flow.
Meanwhile, thank you for the music.
