I use them when I notice that I am thinking too much, when my thinking is not productive but draining. I use them when I feel uncomfortable with a situation. I use them whenever I feel overcome by whatever is going on inside me or around me.
"Curious and playful." Remembering these words halts me right where I am. They reawaken the child within; the fearless child who is authentic and spontaneous, who simply likes to play, even in the shadows.
Playful is a reminder that life is but a game of "me in the world"; a traveller on the adventure of life. Playful helps me to stay light-hearted in any situation, with the understanding that everything happens for a reason, I've only got to dance with it; no resistance, just flow.
Curiosity brings me to reception, wonderment, inspiration, and gratitude. Playfulness allows me to feel free to be spontaneous me, without judgement.
"Curious and playful" is my mantra to flow with the now ... happily.
